Una semanita de vacaciones! / One-week holiday!

El título es la razón principal de que haya encontrado tiempo para escribir otra vez aquí. Y es que hoy empieza la semana de vacaciones que nos tomamos aquí por lo que llaman el "half-term" (es decir, paramos a mitad de trimestre que esto ya cansa).

El problema es que comienzan estas vacaciones y yo estoy sin blanca, sin un duro, pelao, en números rojos y todo lo que se os pueda ocurrir. ¿Y cuándo cobro? Pues ni más ni menos que el viernes, lo que quiere decir que seguramente estas vacaciones van a ser poco movidas. O eso o exprimo la tarjeta de crédito...

El fin de semana pasado fui a un sitio llamado Llandudno
(pronunciado Clandonoubgohohaugialgevacvasdrqe o yo qué sé, estos celtas...) en Gales. El sitio es bastante bonito, y además se agradece la posibilidad de ver playa después de tanto tiempo. Me llevó Josh y fue un día genial (gracias, Josh!!!).

Ah, y se me olvidaba... cómo disfruté de la victoria de España contra Inglaterra! Aunque el partido fuera una mierda, no hay nada mejor que ver la cara de los chavales el día siguiente. Venga, dadme caña ahora con el fútbol, desde el país que lo inventó y que luego olvidó como jugar! jajajajaja.

Una de noticias... Es increíble la de cosas que pasan en este país. Os pongo al día de la historia: niño de 13 años se tira a niña de 15 y de ahí sale un crío. Hasta ahí, nada que no hayamos oído antes... hasta que se ve la cara del padre en cuestión (a la izquierda en la foto). El chaval ha pedido un test de ADN, pero dice que está seguro de que el bebé es suyo. No sé si esto se habrá oído en España o Francia, pero aquí es portada de los periódicos. Yo flipo con los guiris!

The heading of this entry is the main reason why I've found time to write here again. Today the half-term holidays start (which means we stop in the middle of the term because we're tired of soooooooo much teaching).

The problem is that now that these holidays begin, I'm skint, broke, hard up and every way of saying it that you can think of. And when am I getting paid? Precisely on Friday, which means that these holidays will probably be quite quiet. Either that or I burn my credit card...

Last weekend I went to a place called Llandudno (which is pronounced Clandohohoiuoahguiahuaif or whatever, fucking celts...) in Wales. The place was quite nice, and I was happy to have the chance to see the beach after so long. Josh took me there and it was a great day (thanks, Josh!!!).

Oh, I almost forgot... I enjoyed Spain's victory against England a lot! Although it was a shitty match, there was nothing better than seeing the students' faces the next day. Come on, attack me now with football, from the country that invented it and then forgot how to play! hahahaha.

A bit of news... It is incredible to see the kind of things that happen in this country. Let me explain the story: 13-year-old boy shags 15-year-old girl and they have a kid. So far, nothing we had never heard before... but now look at the father's face (on the left in the picture above). The kid has applied for a DNA test, but he says that he is sure that the baby is his. I don't know if you have heard about this in France or Spain, but here it's first-page news. Anyway, anything is possible these days...
